Managing Director, Head of Wealth Management Solutions Distribution

A 30-year veteran of the financial services industry, Chris Mee is responsible for Incapital’s Wealth Management Solutions wholesale distribution force. Prior to joining Incapital in 2015, Mr. Mee led RCS Capital Corporation’s liquid alternative distribution as Executive Vice President and National Sales Director. Previously, he was with John Hancock/Wood Logan, leading multiple distribution teams across a variety of product lines, including mutual funds, retirement plan services and variable annuities. Mr. Mee is licensed for life, health and variable annuity products and holds Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations.

Scott Beshany oversees a team of Regional Sales Managers who support the sales of market-linked products and annuities. His career spans more than 25 years in the financial services industry with a variety of roles, including sales management and business development of structured products, mutual funds, annuities and traditional life insurance. Prior to joining Incapital in 2012, Mr. Beshany spent 10 years as Senior Vice President of BBVA Compass Investment Solutions, where he was responsible for vendor relationships, product selection and distribution. Prior to BBVA, he was a Regional Sales Manager with SouthTrust Securities in Birmingham, AL. Mr. Beshany earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Samford University in Birmingham and holds a state insurance license, as well as Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.

Patrick Dwyer has nearly 20 years of industry experience in market development and resource management. Previously, he held positions at Lincoln Financial, John Hancock/Manulife Wood Logan, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. He earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.


Bob McDermott

Senior Vice President, Institutional Relations

Bob McDermott has more than 20 years of experience leading successful teams in the strategic distribution of investment solutions at the retail and institutional levels. Previously, he was a Senior Vice President and Head of Relationship Management at F-Squared Investments, where he was responsible for national key account management, platform sales and global client service. He served as Principal of the Capital Markets Group at Orinda Asset Management and enjoyed a 16-year career at Putnam Investments as Senior Vice President in the retail management division. Mr. McDermott earned a BA in political science from Providence College.

Vice President, National Sales Manager - Internal Sales

Holly Manning manages Incapital’s internal wholesale team and business development group for market-linked products and annuities in the Boca Raton office. She has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Incapital, Ms. Manning held positions in sales and account management for annuities, 401(k) and 529 plans at John Hancock and Manulife Wood Logan. She earned a BS in psychology from Guilford College. Her licenses include Series 7, 24, and 63, as well as life insurance.

Prior to joining Incapital, Sean Babik spent more than 15 years wholesaling annuities and 529 college savings plans for two major insurance companies. He also has extensive experience in liquid alternative mutual funds and market-linked products. Mr. Babik is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a Certified Public Accountant. He holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses, as well as life insurance and health insurance licenses.


George Mahassel

George Mahassel brings 20 years of industry experience in helping financial professionals and their clients achieve their goals. He has been wholesaling in New England since 2000, representing a variety of products and solutions in multiple channels. Prior to joining Incapital, Mr. Mahassel was a Regional Vice President for Pacific Life Insurance Company. Previously, he spent more than 16 years with John Hancock Investments as a wholesaler. Mr. Mahassel earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He holds Series 6, 7, 63, and life and health insurance licenses.


Tony Pappas

Insurance and investment wholesaler Tony Pappas joined Incapital in 2017. His entire career has been dedicated to helping investors and their advisors, in roles ranging from life insurance agent to financial advisor to wholesaler. He spent 18 years with John Hancock Life Insurance as a Senior Vice President selling variable annuities. Most recently, he was a Regional Vice President for Realty Capital Securities. Mr. Pappas holds Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses, as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

A native of Houston, John Blanton previously served as Regional Vice President with the Forethought Financial Group. He also spent 13 years with Invesco Distributors in senior level business development and wholesaling roles. Mr. Blanton is a graduate of Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. He holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses and life insurance and health insurance licenses.

David Bottom has served financial advisors in the Florida market for more than a decade throughout several positions. Prior to joining Incapital, Mr. Bottom represented liquid alternative funds for RC Securities and retirement income products for John Hancock and Transamerica. Cary Cheung began his career nearly 20 years ago as an independent financial consultant. Prior to joining Incapital, he held management positions at Cetera (formerly ING Advisors Network), Chase (formerly Washington Mutual), LPL and Cathay Bank. Mr. Cheung graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BS in business management. His licenses include Series 4, 7, 24, 52, 53, and 63, as well as life insurance.

Dan Coates has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Previously, he was Director of Sales for Crossroads Capital, a Regional Vice President for Realty Capital Securities, and Senior Vice President for Manulife/Wood Logan. Mr. Coates also has extensive retail experience, having built two successful financial planning firms over a 10-year period. He earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Tarleton State University and holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses, as well as life and health insurance and annuities licenses.

Gary Eckebrecht has spent the last 20 years in various leadership and product distribution roles in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was a Regional Consultant for the wealth management teams at Comerica, focusing on estate and business planning. He worked in funds, managed money and variable annuities at Prudential and supported financial advisors at banks and broker-dealers for Allianz. A finance graduate of Northern Arizona University, Mr. Eckebrecht holds Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations, as well as licenses for life insurance, health insurance and annuities.

Jim Edelmann has 20 years of experience in financial services. Previously, he worked for Western National as Wholesaler and for National City Bank as a Portfolio Manager. Mr. Edelmann earned a BBA degree with a major in finance from Eastern Michigan University and an MS in finance from Walsh College. A CFA charterholder, he holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses in addition to life and health insurance licenses.

Prior to Incapital, Dan Gielow was a Vice President for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he catered to the needs of top financial advisors for structured products, ETFs, private and daily liquid alternatives, and mutual funds. Before that, he spent 20 years at Deutsche Asset Management, honing his skills in asset management, insurance products, portfolio construction and understanding advisors’ unique needs. Mr. Gielow earned his bachelor’s degree in financial planning from Purdue University. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Prior to joining Incapital, David Herron spent a decade with Sterling Capital Management helping financial advisors build their practices using his expertise in mutual funds, separate accounts and annuities. John Marone brings more than 20 years of experience to the financial advisors he serves. He began his career as a Financial Advisors with IDS/American Express, specializing in estate planning. He also worked with Barnett Bank and First Union as an Advisor before going on to serve 10 years as Vice President – Regional Platform Manager with BBVA Compass Bank, managing sales of structured products, mutual funds, annuities and life insurance. Mr. Marone attended the University of Florida and holds his Series 7, 24, 63 and life insurance licenses.

Dorian Moros started his career as a Trust Officer with Grand Premier Trust and Investments and went on to become a Financial Advisor with JPMorgan Chase. He spent eight years as an External Wholesaler for Cetera Financial, specializing in private money management programs, annuities and mutual funds, and consulting on practice management and succession planning. Mr. Moros earned a BS in finance from Roosevelt University and a certificate in financial planning from DePaul University. He holds Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses in addition to life and health insurance licenses, and he is pursuing a CFP designation.

John Swenson has spent most of his career partnering with financial advisors and licensed bankers to help them meet their clients’ needs. He started as a Licensed Banker with US Bank and went on to become a Senior Wholesaler with USBII and then an Internal Wholesaler with US Bancorp Asset Management. He has worked as an External Wholesaler for Great West Life and Annuity, Western National and Security Benefit. Mr. Swenson holds a BA from St. Olaf College, where he studied biology and financial management. He holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses.

Kendall Dunn brings global experience to his position, having worked for Merrill Lynch focusing on markets in South America, Central America and Europe. He was also a Financial Advisor for PFS Investments, concentrating on life insurance and annuities. Mr. Dunn served as an Internal Wholesaler for Incapital before being promoted to his current role. He graduated from Florida International University and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as life insurance, health insurance and annuities licenses. A Certified Special Needs Advisor, he donates his time and expertise to local charities and events.
